About this Speaker

Dr Yvonne Halpin is the Head of the Irish Marie Skłodowska-Curie Office (IMSCO), National Delegate and one of two National Contact Points for the MSCA in Ireland. Yvonne graduated with a BSc in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science and a PhD in Electrochemistry from Dublin City University. Prior to joining the IUA, Yvonne worked in the private sector, in academic research on renewable energy technologies, and as a Scientific Programme Manager in Science Foundation Ireland where she gained extensive experience in pre- and post-award management of research funding programmes. Most recently, Yvonne worked in the British Embassy as a UK-Ireland Science and Innovation Officer. 

The IMSCO provides advice and support on preparing applications for MSCA funding and the management of MSCA awards. It is supported by the Irish Research Council and jointly operated with the IUA.
