About this Speaker
Gean Gilger works as Educational Policy and Development Officer with special responsibility for Irish-medium Education with Education & Training Boards Ireland. In this role, she supports post-primary schools across the ETB sector, in particular the 48 ETB schools providing Irish-medium education across the country. Previous to this role, she has 15 years experience as a post-primary teacher. She also has worked as a full-time advisor on the Gaeilge team with Junior Cycle for Teachers. Her areas of interest include School leadership, Educational Law, Curriculum development, Coaching & Mentoring and, of course, Irish-medium Education.
